FKM Rubber Sheet
FKM/FPM rubber sheet is a high-performance elastomer whose fluorine-containing molecular structure provides a broad combination of properties.
Key Features
Temperature: The source lists stable service from -20°C to 300°C and short-term exposure up to 320°C for special compounds.
Chemical resistance: The source describes resistance to strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents and even aqua regia.
Oil resistance and flame behavior: Stable performance in oily media and self-extinguishing behavior after flame removal.
Mechanical properties: Tensile strength 8–12 MPa, elongation 260%–350% and hardness 75–80, with wear resistance and compression-set resistance.
Applications
Aerospace: Seals in missiles, rockets and demanding environments.
Chemical processing and petroleum: Pipeline and reactor seals.
